Summary: New to content management (CMS) form builders? CMS gurus provide an overview of important building blocks as well as a couple of starter resources. But because of the inherent complexity of such tools, they suggest keeping it simple at first and growing the feature set.

Wondering about DBMS differences? This thread highlights the following observations:

  • Access supports shortcuts, like the SELECT expression 'date1 > date2,' whereas SQL Server does not.
  • Booleans have three possible values: TRUE, FALSE, and UNKNOWN/NULL.
  • You cannot set a NOT NULL constraint until all NULL values in the field are eliminated.
  • You can test for a NULL value in SQL Server even if there is a NOT NULL constraint on the field. This is not true in ORACLE.
