What's an Object?

Dec 22, 2004

Ever since CFMX was released, the idea of Object-oriented programming in ColdFusion has been tossed around. On one hand, entire methodologies have been written based on the OO concept, while on the other, arguments have gone on that CF can never be truly OO. And of course, every time the concept of OO is brought up, it's thrown out in a way that makes people say, "What is this?" So what's really needed is a basic guide to OO in ColdFusion. This has never existed -- until now. Matt Woodward has written the first part of a guide that takes all of the concepts and information that is necessary to understand OO as it relates to ColdFusion, and puts them down in an easy to read format --actually, a really easy-to-read format!
