It was Season Finales for most of the popular shows, Sopranos, Voyager and Buffy among the many. Now we all have to resort to videos.

On a really sad note, Douglas Adams, of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fame, passed away suddenly at the very young age of 49. Community member David Lakein let us know that Friday, May 25th, had been declared Towel Day as a tribute to Douglas. Of course we couldn't prove to each that we really did carry towels about all day!

Chris Montgomery has been having a cat saga. First, one of his current cats, apparently mad at him for being on the phone all the time, managed to have his own version of the Stanley Cup Playoffs by shooting Chris's Motorola Star Tac right into a sink full of soapy water! GOAL!!!! Then, Chris became the proud 'mom' of five little tiny newborn kittens after their real mom abandoned them. Sadly, after much effort on Chris's part to save them all, only two survived. They will go on to happy lives with Chris, and to become members of the "Montgomery Hockey Team". Chris, you'd better find someplace else to keep those phones!

On a positive note, Phillip Arnold reminded us that it pays to go to your local CFUG meetings. He recently attended his South England CFUG, with Ben Forta as guest speaker and while waiting for his train ride to the meeting, some kind bystander gave Philip a free train ticket. Then, at the meeting, he won a copy of ColdFusion Professional! Lucky bloke!

Proving that not all topics encourage outright shouting matches, the majority of us took a religion test just for fun at http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html, posted by Daniel Dewey. Results were surprising, hitting some people right on the money, while throwing others for a loop, with a few very disappointed about Jedi not being on the list!
