This is a great interview -- you really get the sense of Jeremy in this article, almost as if he and the interviewer (Irwin Soonachan) were good friends, just sitting around and talking. One interesting quote: "What you can expect is to see our rich-client technology get much better integrated with our servers, so that you can build an application that really takes advantage of that rich, client-side functionality as well as the functionality on the servers. Also, I think you can expect to see the type of development experience that people have - in terms of both coding and visual design - get much more integrated as well." Jeremy notes that the real outcome of the merger will be in the increased quality of Macromedia's products, and that's going to come to fruition in 2002.
