MX on the Rocks Rocked!
MX on the Rocks was held in Denver, Colorado on May 15th and 16th. Over 150 people attended the conference, which was a great success. People came mainly from Colorado and the surrounding states, but some attendees were from further afield.
Held under the name of the Colorado Macromedia Technology Conference last March, it was renamed to MX on the Rocks this year to sound less formal. Judging by the conference party, they have improved.
The conference was originally scheduled for March, but three feet of snow delayed this year's event until May. The speakers were good and they covered some interesting new topics like sound, security, and Java. One pair of Flash speakers gave demos of television-quality internet ads that they had done for Ford Motor company and other Fortune 500 companies that were very loud!
