ColdFusion vs. Flash (The Conclusion)
Christian Cantrell, Macromedia Server Community Manager, has been building a Community Resource Directory in two versions, one built with Flash MX 2004 and the other built with ColdFusion MX 6.1. While he expected to find one superior to the other, he reports that both interfaces were fun to build, and neither was faster or superior, so he advices to choose your language based on your resources. What I find most useful about this comparison is the list of advantages and disadvantages that he's found when building an application in Flash or ColdFusion, and the commentary from readers at the bottom.
