JRun 3.0 had several different authentication mechanisms for servlets/JSPs and EJBs, which sometimes required duplicate user/role definitions or customized code for each mechanism. JRun 3.1 now has an integrated authentication mechanism called Single Signon, and this article will tell you how to use it.
