ColdFusion Server 5: Unable to Install the SNMP MIB Option on Solaris Even Though the Correct Solaris Patches Are Installed

When installing Macromedia ColdFusion Server 5 on Solaris operating systems, an error occurs even if you have installed the required Solaris Patch Levels for a SNMP MIB installation on Solaris:
  • Solaris 2.6: Patch Level- Solstice Enterprise Agent (SEA)
  • Solaris 7: Patch Level- 107709-10 or higher
  • Solaris 8: Patch Level- 108869-03 or higher
