This tutorial demonstrates how to debug a J2EE application, such as a servlet or JSP, with Forte 3.0 and Macromedia JRun Server 3.1. It does this in six steps:
  • Step 1: Creating a new JRun 3.1 Sample Project
  • Step 2: Modifying Forte's ide.cfg file
  • Step 3: Configuring the JRun 3.1 Sample Project
  • Step 4: Deploying the forte-app1.war file to the JRun Default Server
  • Step 5: Debugging a servlet or JSP locally
  • Step 6: Debugging a servlet or JSP remotely
