ColdFusion Server 5 (Windows only): The TRIM, UCASE, and LCASE Functions Return Incorrect Results for Non-English Languages

When using the trim, ucase, and lcase functions in Macromedia ColdFusion Server 5 on Windows platforms, the TRIM, UCASE and LCASE functions may return incorrect results when parsing non-English characters in the ISO 8859 character sets. The TRIM function may trim characters that are not supposed to be deleted, and the other functions may not recognize certain non-English characters. This TechNote provides a hot fix for this issue.
