Macromedia Spectra 1.5.1: Changes to a ContentObjectType Are Not Applied To the Version Database

If you have implemented versioning with Spectra, and you make a change to a ContentObject type, the change is only reflected in the application database and not the version database. Macromedia recommends that you update your ContentObject type and each version of your content object in the version database. Failing to do so can lead to errors when calling the changed object from the version database.
