This TechNote explains how to set up a distributed configuration with Apache and multiple JRun Servers. One example of a complex distributed configuration is as follows: a dedicated machine for a Web server and another (or multiple) machine(s) dedicated as JRun Server(s) with one or more instances of JRun Server on each machine. This is a common method for distributing the processing load across multiple machines. This technote takes you step by step through configuring the JRun Servers and connector manually.
