ColdFusion MX: Domain Cookie Not Set When Accessing Site Via IP Address
When a site is accessed using its IP address in the URL and setDomainCookies="Yes" is specified in the CFAPPLICATION tag, ColdFusion will not set a domain cookie. This is because ColdFusion does not recognize an IP address as a domain name. For more information and for a workaround, see the TechNote below:
