ODBC access in Macromedia ColdFusion MX and higher is provided through the use of the DataDirect SequeLink Server software, which runs under the Windows services labeled ColdFusion MX ODBC Agent and ColdFusion MX ODBC Server. This TechNote provides information on how to install and uninstall these services manually in order to help in instances when ColdFusion may fail to install them properly, such as in upgrades or new installations.
