The CFLDAP tag in Macromedia ColdFusion MX provides a convenient interface for users to access LDAP directory servers. To provide additional security, you may choose to use secure SSL connections between ColdFusion and the LDAP server. This TechNote provides step-by-step instructions for configuring an SSL connection between ColdFusion MX and an LDAP server. These instructions use iPlanet LDAP server 5.0.
