Configuring ClusterCATS Failover on Apache Web-Servers Running ColdFusion 4.5.1

Problem: ClusterCATS failover won't work when Apache is configured with or without multiple hardware virtual servers under a single instance on Linux or Solaris, unless you manually configure the virtual servers in the Apache httpd.conf file to listen on the IP addresses of their cluster-mates.

Solution: This article gives instructions on how to set up your httpd.conf file to get around this problem.
