MDAC on Windows 2000 SP1

On Win2000 SP1, executing a SQL statement with concatenation will cause the CFAS to hang. The reason? A reintroduced Microsoft bug in the MDAC that's installed with Win2000 SP1. This showed up when customers ran MSAccess on Win2000 SP1, but Allaire doesn't know if the bug is limited to MSAccess. Here's more information, and a workaround:
