On-Line Data Solutions Announces Infusion Mail Server 2.0

Dec 07, 2005
April 17 -- On-line Data Solutions today announced the release of inFusion Mail Server (iMS) version 2.0. This release of iMS sports some usability and performance enhancements, including an SMTP Relay server built into the mail sending engine (allowing for easy mail sending for application servers) and a new SOHO version which provides a full-featured product for small offices.

inFusion Mail Server 2.0 features include:

  • The ability to create unique, data-driven applications that are perfect for CRM, opt-in mail services, etc.
  • The ability to store messages in files or within an SQL server thus allowing for full context searching.
  • Performance and scalability - inFusion Mail Server 2.0 can support tens of thousand of users on an appropriately configured server and outperforms many other file-sharing and client-server messaging systems in its processing of messages, message queue and directory lookups.
  • Open standards support
"Companies using traditional mail server packages often find themselves limited by the feature set of the package," said Howie Hamlin, inFusion Project Manager at On-Line Data Solutions. "inFusion Mail Server 2.0 is a native SMTP/POP/MIME messaging solution that interoperates with other SMTP compliant messaging systems ... It is a robust, high-performance messaging system that, by nature of it's design, allows unlimited email application features and functions. With iMS, your email application is only limited by your imagination!"

inFusion Mail Server 2.0 is available for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000. The iMS Special Edition (mail sending engine) is priced at $250, while the full iMS product starts at $500.
