Dennis Carothers, Visual Tools Documentation, Macromedia, Inc., explains this innovative system, premiered in Spectra 1.5, which gives users a direct response line to the Allaire/Macromedia Technical Publications Group. LiveDocs can also be used by Macromedia writers to deliver corrections and to fill content gaps between documentation releases. As new technical information becomes available, through Knowledge Base articles, DevCenter content, and other sources, pointers to that information can be added as a comment directly on the applicable page.
