Minneapolis, MN - (May, 17, 2000) - In one of the most novel implementations of ColdFusion's WAP technology, mobile-focused integrator, Gearworks.com has announced their exclusive sponsorship of Fruita, Colorado's "Mike the Headless Chicken Festival," and the immediate availability of a Mike the Headless eChicken virtual pet for the Palm OS. Based on a rather bizarre scientific oddity, circa 1945, the day-long festival will feature entertainment, a 5K run/walk and a micro-brew contest. The eChicken virtual pet will be open source, and recreational programmers are encouraged to contribute to its further development.
