Macromedia, Inc. has announced new initiatives geared to increase the extensibility of Macromedia® JRun(TM). To help bring the power of Java development to the masses, Macromedia is launching a campaign to partner with leading Java development tool vendors and working with Intel on JRun support and certification on Itanium 64, and delivering J2EE compatible functionality with the now available JRun 3.1.
