Ektron, Inc., which offers easy-to-use, quick-to-deploy, low-cost content management solutions, has announced that FLIR SYSTEMS, Inc. has recently integrated the new Ektron eMPower Express into its Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP)®-based intranet to enhance content management. Flir Systems, a leading manufacturer of thermal imaging and broadcast camera systems, has offices in Boston, Portland, the UK and Sweden. Unveiled last week, eMPower Express version 1.2 is a quick-to-deploy, browser-based content management application for Microsoft ASP® and Macromedia ColdFusion® environments. It enables "non-HTML-proficient" business professionals to create, publish and manage Web content (including text, images, tables, hyperlinks, etc.), while ensuring that necessary parameters are in place for maintaining control over the site's look and feel, navigation, security, etc.
