CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Aug 1, 2000 -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- CitySkills Inc., a non-profit organization committed to the job training and placement of urban adults into Internet careers, hosted the first meeting of the Digital Workforce Alliance on July 21 and 22, under the sponsorship of Allaire Corp. The event, meeting at The Monitor Group in Cambridge, Mass., brought together 15 urban job training pioneers from across the U.S. to share best practices and develop a collective strategy to expand action-oriented approaches to the "Digital Divide."
