Grail Converts Legacy Code to ColdFusion

Jun 12, 2000
TranSage has developed a tool, GRAIL, which they claim significantly reduces the manual effort required to "morph" an existing legacy application to a Web-enabled technology. The tool is supposed, by use and some extensions of standard Compiler theory, to be able move a Cobol or RPG program to syntactically correct ColdFusion. (Note: The company itself states that this does not eliminate all re-engineering tasks, but even so, it's worth checking out.) You may visit http://www.transage.com for more details on this new product.
