Breeze to be Opened Up to Flash Developers

Nov 21, 2003
Peldi announced this in his blog on November 20th (and was promptly quoted by John Dowdell): At Max, Macromedia announced that they will be publishing an API for building custom pods. (Pods are defined by Macromedia as "smaller containers for application data". For a more precise definition, see our article in the Tech and Tags section below, "A Pod by Any Other Name.") At the same time, Macromedia will be exposing the Breeze platform to Web Services. This means that Flash developers will now be able to code custom Flash or Flashcomm pods for Breeze clients, opening up some new vistas in the development market.
