Macromedia Releases Devnet Resource Kit Volume 6

DRK 6 just came out. Starting with volume 6, future DRKs can only be bought through Devnet subscription and not by individual volume. Volumes 1-5 can still be purchased on an individual basis. I've listed what's on this DRK below, but I thought you might also be interested in some of the commentary on the blogs out there. Check out Steve Grosvenor's comments on the content and on the change in sales options, and Oscar Trelles' comments on the lack of Central content in this volume. The content of Volume 6 is broken out into the following categories-

Flash MX 2004 content - These components can only be used with Flash MX 2004:

  2. Sample applications - AS2Minesweeper game (licensed from Phil Chung), FlashTunes (licensed from Dura Media)
  3. Formatting Library

Dreamweaver MX 2004 content:

  1. Web Photo Album 3.0
  2. WA Dynamic Dropdowns (licensed from Web Assist)
  3. WA Google Search (licensed from Web Assist)
  4. Calendar Popup (licensed from Paul Davis)
  5. SQL Color Coding and Code Hinting

ColdFusion MX content

  1. Blog Man 2.0 Sample Application (this is new and enhanced version of the Blog Man application from DRK V5, licensed from Bryan Hogan)
  2. Utilities - CFIMAP, CFNETTOOLS, Zip/Unzip utilities
