Macromedia Plans Web Makeover for UK Government

Macromedia has created a new business unit that will work closely with the UK government to try to help them improve and upgrade the usability of their sites. Macromedia Government officially launched in the UK on Thursday, June 17th, at an event at the House of Commons. According to a company statement, the unit is dedicated to 'enabling the public sector to create Web sites and rich Internet applications.' Macromedia has already launched a similar service in the U.S.
