Compete in the Flex Developer Derby!

Adobe is promoting a contest for the coolest Flex application. If you want to get into Flex, or if you're currently learning the technology, here's your chance to show off what you've got or can do! To make it easier, they've partnered with CFDynamics to offer free Flex hosting to any competitor in the Derby. The prizes for the contest are pretty sweet; six winners will receive:

  • a 42-inch Samsung plasma TV plus a Microsoft Xbox 360.
  • their applications showcased on Adobe's website, along with an application name and description and a link to their personal websites or blogs (if applicable)
  • their applications showcased in Adobe's booth at the JavaOne Conference, May 16?19, 2006, in San Francisco

The first 25 contestants to submit applications that are chosen to be posted in Adobe's online showcase gallery will receive a $50 electronic gift certificate to Amazon.com. The contest is available to the United States and Canada only, and all entries are due by May 1, 2006, at 11:59 p.m., Pacific Time.
