In a press release, Fuat Kircaali, founder, president and CEO of SYS-CON Publications, Inc. noted that "Based on our third-quarter results, our sales increased by 60% over the same period last year and we are confident that the firm will be part of Inc. 500 once again if we remain privately held."

This year, SYS-CON introduced www.JDJStore.com, the world's first solely Java software store, with exclusive distributorship arrangements with leading Java software vendors. The company also plans to launch a conferences and consulting services business during first quarter 2000.

The Inc. 500, published on October 15th and read by over 2.5 million readers, is an exclusive report on the companies and CEOs who are changing the face of American business. As in past years, computer-related companies dominate the rankings (46% of the 500).
