PC World also looked at eMPower 2.5 from Ektron, an Allaire/Macromedia partner. Jim Rapoza reports that "The cost and complexity of most content management systems can give pause to any site builder, but Ektron's empower 2.5 is an exception, offering lots of basic content management features without a high price tag or implementation headaches. ... Empower is the least expensive system we looked at, and it places content management within the reach of smaller company intranets and Web sites."
