ColdFusion 5.0: ZDNet Gives it a Thumbs Up!

Thomas A. Powell, ZDNet Business & Technology, Enterprise, took ColdFusion 5.0 through its paces and came away impressed with the many improvements, granting it either a 9 or 10 in all five ranking categories. He also tested a particularly sensitive real-world situation: "The biggest worry is whether sites can easily port to the new release without major changes. When we ported five relatively standard ColdFusion sites and one extremely complex one -- all on a Windows 2000 server running ColdFusion 5 -- we found that all ran without any changes once we specified the data sources."
