In the same issue of PC Magazine, Mr. Seltzer also looks at ColdFusion 4.5 and looks ahead to the recently announced version 5.0. He gives ColdFusion 4.5 high marks with one caveat: "ColdFusion's server engine falls short of JSP performance for most applications because it's interpreted, rather than compiled ..." Well, Mr. Seltzer, aren't you in for a surprise with Neo! When Macromedia puts ColdFusion on a Java engine base, I'm sure Mr. Seltzer will be very happy. PC Magazine rated ColdFusion 4.5 as "Very Good."
