Infoworld's Mike Heck took a look at ColdFusion Server 5.0's ability to create user-defined functions as well as custom tags to Web-applications and concludes that it provides a good alternative to Java. Some of the things he cites are an increase in speed and performance, and the new incremental page delivery feature.
