What can I say bad about this book? That it didn't cover everything under the sun? That I don't know the author personally? That it's not 5 pounds? Well, as you can see from the negatives, I really can't find anything wrong with it.
This is the most complete and bottom line best book to learn the core concepts of ColdFusion MX. It does nothing wrong. I learned something new myself when I read it (that a dollar sign is legal as part of a variable, even as the first character). I even applaud its coverage of what core concepts are. It includes information on new CFMX features like CFLOGIN, which is really nice.
My recomendation is to buy this book if you're getting into CF, know someone who is (or should be), or want to brush up on what is now (or should be) the core concepts of CF programming.
