Brian Kotek briefly compares the Mach-II and Fusebox 4.1 frameworks in a TechRepublic article. From an experienced ColdFusion (but minimal Fusebox/Mach-II) user's perspective, this is a fairly useful five-minute article. It quickly encapsulates the main themes behind using the top two ColdFusion frameworks without burdening the user with examples and complexity. It fits nicely into the moderately experienced CF programmer's need for a high level side by side comparison of the two open-source frameworks.

I don?t particularly agree with Brian?s assertion that ?Most CF developers have moved past spaghetti code and the mixing of business logic with presentation code?, though thankfully he is trying to help the cause by encouraging us to improve our coding ways. If you know very little about either Fusebox 4.1 or Mach-ii, it is well worth the time to read this article.
