Securely control over user access and entitlements to the Website is nicely balanced by the ability to personalize the end-user's experience on the site.

The functionality of Macromedia Spectra's security features have not changed from Macromedia Spectra 1.01 to Macromedia Spectra 1.5.x. However, the way the features were implemented internally has changed. The visible changes are very subtle, but they will require attention when coding in Macromedia Spectra 1.5.x, and when upgrading applications from Macromedia Spectra 1.01. Here's what to watch out for:
