IBM and Macromedia Team to Bring ColdFusion MX Capabilities to Websphere
April 29, 2002 - IBM Corp. and Macromedia, Inc. announced a strategic relationship that brings the Macromedia ColdFusion MX rapid server scripting environment to the IBM WebSphere Internet infrastructure software platform. As a result of this agreement, the large Macromedia developer community will have the option of developing and deploying ColdFusion MX applications on WebSphere. The agreement includes joint development, sales, marketing, and technical support activities to serve customers using the integrated IBM/Macromedia platform.
