FlashWeather: This is an example of how you can use WDDX (Web Distributed Data Exchange) as a means of passing complex data between ColdFusion and Flash. The Flash movie (weather.swf) uses the XML ActionScript object to request and process data from a ColdFusion template (weatherData.cfm). The ColdFusion template is retrieving weather information for select cities in a database and serializing that data into a WDDX format. When the Flash movie receives the information, it will display each city's temperature and condition with a graphic.
