Mandrake and other Linux/Unix servers utilize a specialized Apache webserver installation. These Apache installs utilize a system that is called "Extended Application Programming Interface (EAPI)". The pre-compiled mod_coldfusion.so file that is distributed with ColdFusion 4.5.1 will not work "out of the box" with this version of Apache. After you run the ColdFusion server installation, you need to recompile the mod_coldfusion.so Apache module with special flags. Here's how.
