Updated and re-released, this new ColdFusion discussion board is really sleek. Lots of features in an easy to use and self-maintaining application. This app includes automated old message removal, automated searching, message notification, response notification, and foul language checking, with lots of other abilities. It's put up there in a very blank format to make customization really easy.

CF_MXDSN

CF_MXDSN can be employed to list, remove, add, disconnect, reconnect and get information on individual Microsoft SQL Server-based datasources on Macromedia ColdFusion MX. It is NOT backward-compatible with previous versions of ColdFusion Server, including version 5.

Takes a string variable as input and strips out all tags, allowing for any user-defined valid tags.

Place in a common include file on your site and the tag will set up a variable called "myhttp" to use in each page. Myhttp will be set depending on two variables set in the application.cfm.

Takes any string and replaces all but the right or left four digits with a defined character.

Drop Down Select

Creates an HTML select box with options populated by predefined query that you specify. Behaves like a VB drop-down select box (pattern matching). Users type in a 'word' and the select box will move forward to the nearest match. Support code is created only once and will handle many selects on forms.
