Netscape: We're in Media, Not Browser Business Now

The buzz on the web wonders what the impact will be now that AOL-Time Warner has announced its plans for Netscape. It seems that Netscape, an Internet software pioneer and the most widely used browser software after Microsoft's Internet Explorer, will be rebuilt into an Internet media hub featuring Time Warner artists and publications. This bowing to reality may put a monkey wrench in the Department of Justice case against Microsoft.
