It's been nearly two weeks since the attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, and our wounds are still festering. We were dealt a hard blow, symbols of our nation and of New York destroyed and many people killed. But there are ways we all can help, and in doing so, heal. Those who are able to can give blood. Those who are not able to give blood can still help by donating much needed funds to the relief efforts, through the organizations below:
United Way: Donate to the September 11th Fund. Your contribution will be
used to mobilize resources to respond to the urgent needs of victims of
the attacks and their families.

We will have to increase our vigillence, taking more notice of our surroundings, so that this doesn't happen again. We will get the perpetrators of this terrible crime, and we will make them pay.
But until the day of reckoning comes, we can show that Americans are, at their core, good people. The little deeds we do in our day to day lives, with a smile, a helping hand, a strong shoulder to lean on -- these things do make a difference. G-d bless America!
